Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is most well-known for her leading roles in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles on film. She has a large following both on American and Canadian TV. When Emily was 12 she became interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie while filming one of her film. After realizing her passion for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. After a few successful commercials she was soon cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You scared of the Dark? The show had one episode where she was unable to talk. Her first break came at the age of 15, after she was spotted on the WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performances caught the attention of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily was also a dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her among the best actresses below the age of twenty. The actress was named number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
