April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th of July. She began piano and guitar lessons from age seven. Her interest in creating songs was sparked. The first song she wrote was called Different, which she wrote at the age of 12. She spent a lot of time at 14 composing songs and experimenting with music. She began writing alongside her father in NY and LA within a short time. April included other subjects in her song, Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt issues like peer pressure, disabilities or even teen suicidal thoughts. Lockhart has her own following and is a lifestyle blogger with the well-known Ilia clean beauty brand. She has a disability that is a component of her persona, however it's not all of the picture. The account on Instagram of Lockhart doesn't deny her handicap. It also doesn't make it a point to emphasize the issue. It's a reminder. The message?
